Welcome Lee Taylor, our 2011 Young & Free Alabama Spokesperson!

It's official! Lee Taylor, 24 years old, from Florence is Listerhill Credit Union's 2011 Young & Free Alabama Spokesperson. A surprise party was held Thursday evening and with the help of a crowd of enthusiastic friends, family and Listerhill Credit Union employees, Lee was completely surprised and accepted the job. Take a look at the video!

All three finalists, Zach, McKenzie and Lee put together awesome campaigns to rally thousands of voters. In fact, more than 8,000 votes came in, which far exceeds any search contest in the entire Young & Free network!

Lee won the tight race after an intense competition with his fellow finalists, Zach Cox, of Florence, and McKenzie Lockhart, of Muscle Shoals. The two runners up will each receive an iPad 2 for their hard work.

We'll keep you posted right here on the blog over the next week as Lee gets settled in and takes over.
