Summer jobs.
So school is either over or close to and some of you will have a lot more time on your hands. The old saying still holds true: Time is Money. So here are some cash-money summer job ideas:
Babysitting - An oldy, but a goody.
House/Pet Sitting - Do you believe people actually pay others to just stay the night at their house and feed the dog here and there while they leave for the weekend? Well, it's true, so take advantage of it! It's like a mini-vaca for you too.
Lawn Care/Gardening - I know you're thinking this is so cliche for a summer job. But the money is there. But also think about the gardening side of it if you like flowers.
Cleaning - People love to pay others to clean their junk. Houses, cars, garages, fingernails, whatever!
Camp Counselor - Miss those summers at camp? Go back as a counselor!
Lifeguard - Not only is this a great way to make money, but it's also a great way to get a tan!
Make/Sell Arts & Crafts - If you have a hobby that can make money, think about setting up a booth at events like Florence'e First Fridays.
Construction - It's hard work, but it's good money.
Internship - Interning is a great opportunity to get experience in your potential career field, but usually with minimal or no pay. Be sure to check with your college if you can get credit as an elective.
These are just a few ideas. So think of your own ideas and get that money rolling in.
