Home-Made Laundry Detergent

In this classy video, I show how to make home-made laundry detergent that can save you half or more of what you're paying now to wash your clothes.

Some things to remember about this recipe:

  • 1/2 Cup of Borax
  • 1/2 Cup of WASHING Soda
  • 1 Bar of Soap (I use laundry soap, but Ivory is often used instead)
  • Use 1 Tablespoon per load (Recipe makes enough for 32 loads)
  • Detergent will not bubble up. But that's ok.
  • Water may turn gray, but that's just the dirt from your clothes.
  • The detergent is scentless, which is good for allergies and such.
  • You can add essential oils to the mix for the scent you prefer.
