Home-Made Laundry Detergent
In this classy video, I show how to make home-made laundry detergent that can save you half or more of what you're paying now to wash your clothes.
Some things to remember about this recipe:
- 1/2 Cup of Borax
- 1/2 Cup of WASHING Soda
- 1 Bar of Soap (I use laundry soap, but Ivory is often used instead)
- Use 1 Tablespoon per load (Recipe makes enough for 32 loads)
- Detergent will not bubble up. But that's ok.
- Water may turn gray, but that's just the dirt from your clothes.
- The detergent is scentless, which is good for allergies and such.
- You can add essential oils to the mix for the scent you prefer.
