Green is better anyway.

It is no secret that I'm a big fan of the show Lost. So much so that I found a Darma Initiative Alarm Clock on ThinkGeek.com. So my first inclination was, let's give it away on the website! Yeah!

Then it was brought to my attention, after pumping myself and friends up about the clock, that the alarm clock was an April Fools' joke from ThinkGeek.com. hmmmm....

I've been trying to think of a way to play it off for a couple days now. I thought, "I could put a disclaimer that the picture doesn't represent the actual clock and make my own to give away." But then I figured that would just make someone mad. Then I thought, "What if I call someone to put it together for me." But that would surely cost a lot of money. So the best idea I could think of to play off this goof would be this.

Since the Darma clock is not "currently available", I am now giving away a $50 Visa gift card SO THAT, when the clock does become available, the winner will have the money to purchase it. 

Eh? Did I play it off well?
