Jonathan's current situation:

I'm Jonathan Averill. I am 20 years old and I'm a Psychology major. I live in Florence, Alabama and have all my life. I enjoy anything music related. I also make random youtube videos with friends, or play live music around the area. I consider myself a people person, and I love to meet new people.

Jonathan's blog post:

Having been in college for a couple of years now, I notice that money gets really tight in between semesters. Especially for students like me who do not really have a job at all. So the easiest way I have found to solve this problem is by saving as much as possible during the beginning of the semester. Like for example I usually receive a refund from the school after all my scholarships and grants pay for class. Next I wait the couple weeks and finally (after what seems forever) get the check. I save half of it and use the other half on new things I may need this semester (clothes, shoes, backpack) and by the time the end of the semester comes (the time where i would normally be panicking) I begin to dip into the money that was put into my account (hopefully earning some interest in the process).

Other ways I have heard from people include spending less out in town on eating. Or if you're planning to go to the mall leave the credit card at home, because if you have to turn around and go back to get the card you probably won't want to waste the gas money on going all the way back.

If we all just think before we spend the money we receive then when the time comes and we truly need it then it will be there.

Jonathan
