I am a 23 year old senior at UNA. I will be graduating in December with a degree in Professional Management. I currently work part-time at Best Buy. In my spare time I enjoy making music, being outdoors, and spending time with friends. I am a very spontaneous person. Life is too short to be trapped in the same routine over and over.  I try to do things differently than most people. To me, being original is the only way people can get to know the real you. Right now I am trying to focus on getting through my last semester of college and am very eager to see what life will bring afterward.

Isn’t it crazy how dependent our generation has become on technology? It’s hard to believe that not even 15 years ago we didn’t have a lot of the gadgets that we couldn’t live without today. Just think about it, no cell phones, high speed internet, iPods, or even TiVo….. how did we ever survive as kids?

Technology has become such an central part of our lives, that we often feel lost without it. Have you ever left your cell phone at home one day and felt just as awkward as you would have if you forgot to put on pants? I hate that feeling! Today’s technology has opened so many different avenues for communication as well as for personal enjoyment.  It is obvious that we are an on-the-go generation.

Some of the best selling new products are designed to keep in your car, put in your pocket, or download to your phone. With all of these new concepts allowing us to stay on the move, we never have to be disconnected from anyone no matter where we are.

It’s hard to imagine what our future will be like when we are so often being introduced to new life changing products. People all over the world are constantly learning how to use new technology at younger ages. I can just see it now, ultrasounds in the future will become more of a video chat with your unborn child!

In today’s techno-savvy society we must stay on top of all the new technology in order to succeed.
