Paste your application blog post: Today young adults have a wide variety of opportunities and choices. These opportunities and choices have been created as a part of the new era we are entering. We now can earn college degrees from home, purchase cell phones that allow us to receive our email or even express ourselves through social mediums like Facebook, Twitter or MySpace. The choices this generation faces are more individualistic and selective, but the sky is truly the limit. We must be smart about the choices we make today because they will reflect the paths, which we take in the future.
Young adults also have a lot of distractions put in front of us and far too often making the choice to plan a financially sound future is overlooked. Making the choice to be financially competent and educated about how to plan for a sound financial future is important. Sure, it can be intimidating, but not balancing your accounts, casually swiping credit cards and impulsive spending can lead to serious trouble. I mean after all it’s not your daddy’s money anymore! I work hard for my money, but I am even better at spending it!
So, I commend Listerhill for taking the initiative to reach out to US! Educating young adults about the importance of making banking a top priority is a necessity. Sure we can follow in our parent’s footsteps, but our generation’s needs are different. This is a unique opportunity for young adults to not only learn about our options, but to also speak out about our needs.
Just as motivational speaker Zig Ziglar once said, “Every choice you make has an end result.” I feel strongly that the financial choices that we make as young adults can have a lasting impact on our futures. The choices we make now can have a good end result or even a bad one if we choose poorly. Yes, I feel that this generation is faced with more distractions and choices, but it is good to have Listerhill on our side to influence us about our financial opportunities.
So Alabama what choices will you make?
