Mack's current situation:
Hi, I’m Mack Cornwell. I recently moved this year from Seattle, WA to Florence where I attend The University of North Alabama as a freshman. I have really enjoyed becoming evolved on campus and getting to know students from all over the world and country. I am apart of JUMP, Habitat for Humanity, the Student Multicultural Advisory Committee, and the Outdoor Adventure Center. I like to play ultimate frisbee, soccer, kayak, rock climb and camp. My favorite nights are those where I can ride my bike to Rivertown and listen to music with my friends. I really appreciate you watching my video!

It is difficult to stay on a budget in college, even more so have a comfortable savings. Even with a part time job it is easy to loose track of how much money is in the bank. Starting to save now can really make a difference for a future. If anything the saving mindset is one that must be learned, and why not start now?
Collegescholarships.org tells us the number one way to save is to,” Get a free checking and savings account.” Like Lister Hill! If we have a part time job and put away only $25 a week we will have more than $4000 dollars saved up in the time to earn a four year degree. This money would extremely helpful for the hopefully short time between graduation and the first day on your new job.
According to kiplinger.com , “If a 25-year-old contributes $5,000 each year until she retires and makes an average annual return of 8% on her investment, she'll have $1.4 million saved by the time she retires at age 65.” $5000 can be difficult for us right now, but getting in the savers mindset will start you on a great path for the future!
