Here is Adam's current situation:
In my spare time, I help a local high school with the football program—something I have done for four years now. This allows me to stay in touch with high school students and young adults. I'm also very involved with my church where I serve as a puppeteer for the Children's Church ministry and also as a member of the human video team. I stay busy and I am always on the go, just as every other young adult is now-a-days.

Hello Young & Free Alabama,
I'm Adam Herring. I'm 21 years old and I live in Tuscumbia, AL. I'm currently a senior at the University of North Alabama where I'm studying to be an English teacher. But enough about me, let's talk about something that concerns all of us...money.
As young adults between the ages of 18-25, we desperately need to know how to manage our money, and let's face it; most young adults do not know the intricacies of financial management. That's why I'm here. I want to help all of you watching and reading to understand the ideas of loans, leases, and lending. I want you to be able to differentiate between fixed rate mortgages and balloon mortgages. I want us all to be able to establish and handle credit, as well as plan financially for our future. The time of our lives that we are currently in can affect our entire future, so the importance of the decisions we make right now regarding our money can have a great impact on the rest of our lives.
But let's all agree once again--reading literature or brochures about loans can be as entertaining as watching paint peel (if you find this particular task entertaining, I apologize). That is why I aim to inform you all the while making things interesting and fun. We're young adults, and we don't want to learn things by having information pounded in our brains faster than a car rounding a turn at Talladega Superspeedway. We embrace the new age of technology, and are the new face of technology, so we make use of our technology to learn. That's exactly what I want to do here. Until then....
